Pelvic Health for Fitness & Movement Professionals
Are you a Personal Trainer, Sports Coach, Yoga or Pilates teacher? Do you feel confident talking about pelvic health with your clients? Or adapting your coaching around their symptoms so they can keep training and exercising?
Or, do you find yourself seeking out info on social media or trying to Google "safe" exercises?
And I know you became a Fitness or Movement Professional because you love helping clients feel fitter, stronger, and healthier.
You’ve invested in your qualifications, built awesome skills and created wonderful programmes for your clients (who, by the way, think you’re awesome)
But there’s one area where you might feel completely out of your depth – pelvic health…
But it's not your fault...
Most fitness and movement qualifications completely skip the bit about pelvic health, treating it as a specialist subject (even though every single client you have or will have, has a pelvic floor – yes, even the men folk).
Or squeeze it into 2 slides on other courses and certifications.
Or take a single pelvic floor strategy and suggest you apply it to everyone.
Because if you are working with females, you’ll be working with clients who do have pelvic floor concerns (whether they have shared them or not).
Let’s look at the stats:
- 1 in 3 women experience leaking urine during exercise
- Around 50% of women will experience prolapse in their lifetime
- Up to 80% of high impact athletes report leaking during training
- 45% of women avoid certain exercise due to pelvic health concerns
- 2 out of 3 women will cease training during pregnancy due to uncertainty
When a client casually mentions they have a prolapse, or they avoid jumping exercises “just in case”, or they need a quick wee after each set, or that they’re struggling to “feel their core” even though they gave birth years ago, you perhaps feel a bit lost yet wonder how you can help them.
You know you’re missing opportunities to fully support them, but pelvic health feels like unchartered territory (and a little scary, maybe?!)
You know you’re a great PT, coach or instructor and get amazing results but you also recognise that every body has it’s own story and pelvic health definitely feels like a chapter they missed in your qualification
You want to expand your knowledge so you can serve your clients better. You’d love to understand how the pelvic floor works and how you can adapt your training and coaching to improve their confidence. You’d love to be the fitness or movement professional who truly gets it—someone clients can talk to openly about all aspects of their health and movement. You want to feel confident addressing the concerns that keep people from fully participating in exercise, not just the ones that are easy to Google.
I know, you're wondering where pelvic health fits in with fitness and movement
You might be thinking that pelvic health is too medical, too complex and outside your remit as a FitPro.
And less face it, it’s all seen as just little bit of a taboo
Maybe you’re worrying that you’ll get it wrong, or make their symptoms worse or that you’ll make them feel more conscious of their issues.
And because pelvic health wasn’t part of your original training, you’re not even sure where to start. There’s conflicting information online, words you’ve never heard, and you’re worried about overstepping professional boundaries. On top of that, you might feel uncomfortable discussing intimate body parts or worry that clients will think you’re being inappropriate.
Maybe you’ve looked into pelvic health courses before, but they didn’t mention exercise or didn’t go deep enough. You need something designed specifically for fitness professionals—practical, evidence-based and clearly defining your scope.
So, instead of:
- Awkwardly avoiding or redirecting pelvic health questions or having to Google everything
- Losing clients during major life transitions like pregnancy, post baby or perimenopause
- Feeling unprepared when clients share intimate concerns
- Missing opportunities to provide a whole person approach
You could:
- Confidently discuss pelvic health within your professional scope (and know when to refer out and to whom)
- Retain and better serve clients through pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause (and all the times in between)
- Feel confident using both correct anatomical terms AND compassionate language
- Apply movement strategies to help their symptoms so clients can keep moving
- Know when and how to regress and progress exercise (and WHY!)
- Expand your expertise and stand out in a crowded fitness market
And now you can with:

What our clients say

About your coach
Hey, I’m Beth and have spent the last 13 years in the fitness industry. I very quickly realised that my Pre & Post Specialist course was no more than a name tag and lacked the depth I needed to truly help the clients that came my way. And so started the journey to pelvic health and exercise and helping clients for whom pelvic health IS THE BARRIER to exercise or to training they want to be doing. Being able to support clients who have pelvic health concerns has meant I have worked with the most amazing clients.
I believe that the fitness industry misses the opportunity to provide personal trainers or exercise instructors with the educational they actually need to work with the female population (especially if they are going through big life transitions where pelvic health is a factor).
I understand what it’s like to feel “totally lost” or frustrated when you want to help but don’t have the tools. I’ve been there Googling unfamiliar words or wondering if I could even help. This course is designed to give you exactly what you need – practical, accessible, focused education that fits within your scope and transforms your knowledge and how you work with female clients.
The next course starts w/c 8th June 2026
